| WELS and Family Radio (officially Family Stations, Inc.) are not associated. WELS does not have a formal position on the organization and expects each believer to exercise discernment and wisdom if making use of the radio material offered. The confession of faith offered at their Web site (familyradio.com) gives evidence that the doctrinal foundation is classic Calvinism, with double election and limited atonement concepts clearly recognizable. I have no way of determining how much of the material that is broadcast on Family Radio is compatible with Scripture, nor am I qualified to identify any doctrinal shift in recent years. Again, their Web site statement about who and what they are indicates they are Christian but do not share the same doctrinal convictions that we do in major theological areas.
