| Q: | I recently joined a WELS church, having been raised ELCA. I've noticed that the rose in our emblem has two layers of petals, but ELCA's rose (and I believe LCMS's) has one layer. Is there a specific reason for the difference or is it artistic interpretation? Thanks. | ||||||||
